Autism Connection of PA

Autism Connection of PA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, serving thousands of people seeking help for autism concerns. We understand, and provide text, email and phone support plus weekly autism news and information. We consult on arts, culture, school and justice issues and sponsor support groups across Pennsylvania.


Epilepsy Association of PA

Epilepsy Association of PA is a private, non-profit service organization providing public education and supportive services to individuals and families affected by epilepsy/seizure disorders. With offices in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, and additional staff in Erie the EAWCP offers its nationally recognized programs and services throughout western and central Pennsylvania. We offer respite care, camp programs, grants for seizure monitoring, travel reimbursement and many other services.  Check out the  Program section!  


Down Syndrome Advocacy Coalition

PDSAC seeks to improve, through legislative, regulatory and policy advocacy, the quality of life for all individuals with Down Syndrome, regardless of age, at the community, state and national levels.


Variety Pittsburgh

With a mission to empower children with disabilities to live life to the fullest, Variety the Children’s Charity provides life-changing mobility and communication equipment to ensure our most vulnerable kids are no longer left out, left behind, or excluded.


Tech Owl 

TechOWL (formerly PIAT) helps people with disabilities explore the tools and technology they need to be independent. TechOWL is Pennsylvania’s Assistive Technology Act program. TechOWL has 9 regional centers across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.


Dubois Challenger League

DuBois Challenger League is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 5 to 18; or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school. The Senior League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 15 and above (no maximum age)


Gradys Decision

The mission of Grady's Decision is to provide emotional, spiritual, and financial support to families experiencing premature birth and/or families with babies needing specialized medical attention.


Caring and Sharing for Kids

Carin and Sharing for Kids is a non-profit organization that helps families with sick or disabled children. We service Jefferson, Clearfield and Elk Counties. We offer assistance from birth to age 18. Our help consists of reimbursements of medical costs not covered by insurance or other means. We reimburse monies for food, gas,hotels and parking.


REST, Inc 

REST was established by a grandparent raising grandchildren in order to help other kinship caregivers in the same situation.  As a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, REST, Inc. is committed to meeting the needs of kinship caregivers and the families they serve.


T.E.D.E Foundation 

The T.E.D.E Foundation raises Rett Syndrome awareness while helping others in our community grow around others like her. To advocate more inclusive accessible, and safe spaces for families with disabilities.


PA Connecting Communities

PA Connecting Communities offers services to meet the diverse needs of individuals with a variety of disabilities including intellectual and autism difficulties.  Our mission is to support individuals according to their needs. PACC currently provides transition programs for students ages 14 to 21, OT services to adults 21 and over and OVR.


PA ABLE 

PA ABLE gives individuals with qualified disabilities (Eligible Individuals), and their families and friends, a tax-free way to save for disability-related expenses, while maintaining government benefits. Federal and state law authorized the creation of PA ABLE accounts.


Inglis

Home Modifications for Independence (HMI) helps homeowners and renters remain independent by staying in their homes through grant-funded home modifications. The HMI program provides access to home modifications for people with various disabilities, those living with traumatic spinal cord injuries, as well as older adults.

PA HIPP Program

PA HIPP Program is a program developed to help families, who have at least one person enrolled in Medical Assistance (MA), pay for private health insurance through an employer.


Icing Smiles 

Icing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. We understand that the simple things, like a birthday cake, are luxuries to a family battling illness. Our goal is to create a custom cake for the ill child, or their sibling, that provides a temporary escape from worry and creates a positive memory during a difficult time.
